Dr. Motion is a division of Soxland International. Soxland was founded in 1986 in New York City by Frank Chang, who grew up in a small sock manufacturing town in Taiwan. We have specialized in all things hosiery for over 30 years. You name it, we’ve probably made it. In 2013, Dr. Motion was born on one grounding principle: to bring wellness to everyone through socks. We want to make you feel better every day. Each product we introduce has been thoroughly wear tested, lab tested, continuously tweaked and improved until we are confident every pair of socks you purchase from us is going to be your new favorite sock.

Breaking the stereotype.

Compression socks are most widely known for their athletic benefits such as enhanced performance, expedited recovery, and medical uses, such as treatment of varicose veins, spider veins, and lymphedema. Often, these compression socks are extremely tight (20mmHg+) and uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. We created our knee-high compression socks for women and men to feature a mild compression level (8-15mmHg) which make them extremely comfortable to wear all day, every day. They are perfect for nurses, expecting mothers, teachers, travelers, athletes, service industry professionals, adventurers, those who sit all day, those who stand all day, etc. Basically, it’s great for everyone.

You understand the benefits of wearing graduated compression socks but maybe you don't want to buy them because they're not stylish and often extremely expensive. To be an "everyday" brand, we design our products to fit flawlessly into your daily outfits with styles that range from basics with subtle details to bold and fun. We continue to grow product categories to truly be able to offer our customers with everyday products: compression ankle socks, graduated compression tights (with control top), comfort top socks (that are suitable for diabetics) and compression quarter top socks (with ankle support). Comfort, quality and function are our top priorities but style is never neglected.
