Moderate Compression 15-20 mmHgModerate compression is a great starting point for anyone wanting to wear compression hosiery and socks. It's most commonly used for people who travel and it's also beneficial for people who experience achy, fatigued legs, minor varicose or spider veins as well as minor swelling. This level of compression is also beneficial to use before or after vein procedures and can help reduce the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis ( DVT). Firm Compression 20-30 mmHgFirm compression can help people who suffer from symptoms of lymphedema, moderate swelling , moderate varicose or spider veins, mild venous insufficiency and can also be used to aid in prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). Extra Firm Compression 30-40 mmHgExtra firm compression is used to aid in the treatment for more serious conditions such as Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI), Post Thrombotic Syndrome (PTS) and Deep Vein Thrombosis ( DVT). This level can also be used to help relieve moderate to severe lymphedema symptoms, active or post venous ulcers and can be used for pre and post vein procedures.
